Appliquéd gum leaves, Sturt’s desert peas, strelitzia, boomerangs and love hearts jostle with musical notes across the surface of this multi-layered outfit. Jackson’s appliquéd pieces were inspired by Henri Matisse’s late cut-outs, produced in the 1940s and early 1950s.
